You wrote to me on 24th October, 1933, Ref.13718/33,

137/8/33 replying to a letter which I sent you enclosing a copy of

the Slave Market News. I sent a copy of your letter to

Mr. A. Lancaster Smith, the Proprietor. I had a further

letter from Mr. A. Lancaster Smith on January 18th, enclos-

ing the January issue of this publication. In the editorial

you will see reference made to the points raised in the

letter you sent me. I have no idea what circulation this

publication has but it does seem to me an improper thing

that a paper should be circulated making quite untrue

statements. I do not know whether you desire to take any

action in the matter, or whether you would like me to ask

a question in the House, and if so in what form.
